  • Hypnotherapy is a guided therapeutic process that uses focused attention and deep relaxation to help access the subconscious mind, where habits, emotional patterns, and beliefs are stored. In this state, the mind becomes more receptive to insight and positive change.

Unlike stage hypnosis, hypnotherapy is collaborative and client-centered. You remain aware, present, and in control throughout the session. The process supports change by working with the underlying patterns that influence thoughts, emotions, and behavior.

  • No. You are always aware, in control, and able to speak or stop at any time. Hypnosis is not mind control — it’s a natural, focused state similar to being absorbed in a movie or meditation.

  • Most people can be hypnotized, especially those who are open, curious, and willing to participate in the process. Hypnosis is a skill that improves with practice — not something that happens to you, but something you actively engage in.

  • Experiences vary, but most people feel deeply relaxed, calm, and focused. There’s no “right” way to experience hypnosis.

Hypnosis works best when there is trust, comfort, and collaboration. That’s why the first session is intentionally structured to build rapport and allow you to experience hypnosis in a supportive, low-pressure way. We will also do a hypnosis session during your first visit so your mind can begin to familiarize itself with the process.

I want you to feel confident and supported in this process. If at any point you feel hypnotherapy isn’t the right fit, we can talk through next steps together.

  • Hypnotherapy is a great fit for anyone motivated for change, open to self-reflection, and ready to actively participate in the process. It may not be the right fit if you’re looking for a quick fix without engagement or are currently experiencing severe mental health conditions that require specialized care.
